When you\u2019re playing a game and the game lags, it\u2019s something utterly annoying and irritating. This surely causes the gamers to suffer a lot. A similar problem has been noticed in <\/span><b>Riders of Icarus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This game has been facing some lag problems and <\/span><b>FPS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> drop issues that cause the gameplay to be simply unbearable. Next, you should click on <\/span><b>Read-Only<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now just save this option and you\u2019re done.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Method 2: Lower GPU Settings<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One reason why <\/span><b>Riders Of Icarus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> might be lagging would be an inadequate <\/span><b>GPU<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Lowering the graphical settings especially when playing online can cause the game to operate a lot smoother, especially when your <\/span><b>Internet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> connection is slow.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can set <\/span><b>Lighting Quality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <\/span><b>Low<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or turn it off entirely for a considerable boost in performance. You\u2019ll have to restart the game to apply these changes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Restrict the count of people on the screen to anywhere less than <\/span><b>20<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Change the <\/span><b>Shader Bar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <\/span><b>1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this might cause the game to look like a ghost town but you can make it somewhat better by taking the character view option to its max.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These settings may not give you a big boost in the <\/span><b>FPS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but you can try changing the <\/span><b>UI<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> elements to different positions to experience an increase in the <\/span><b>Frames Per Second<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>FPS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) rate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Method 3: Stop Unnecessary Programs<\/b><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This method is all about helping you close down all unnecessary applications and programs running on your PC to free up the <\/span><b>RAM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> so that more resources are available to <\/span><b>Riders of Icarus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During gameplay, open up the <\/span><b>Task Manager<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by pressing <\/span><b>Alt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> + <\/span><b>Ctrl<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> + <\/span><b>Del<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> keys simultaneously.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon opening up the <\/span><b>Task Manager<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you\u2019ll see a list of all the programs and processes that are running on your computer at that particular time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All you need to do is close down \/ end every application and every process that isn\u2019t required at the moment to free up <\/span><b>RAM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you\u2019ve done so, the lag problem should have subsided in the game.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Method 4: Increase Priority<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This method is one of the easiest ways to get rid of lag and is also one of the most useful ways.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open up the <\/span><b>Start<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and click on the <\/span><b>All Programs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Accessories<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> | <\/span><b>Notepad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type <\/span><b>@echo off<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and press <\/span><b>Enter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now type <\/span><b>cd\/d \u201cDirectory folder of your game\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. (e.g. <\/span><b>cd\/d \u201cC:\\Program Files\\RidersofIcarus\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the next line, type <\/span><b>start\/high gamename.exe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now save the file as <\/span><b>name.bat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You should observe the incoming data and sort that data among the different devices connected to your router.
