    Modifying User Assist File<\/b><\/h2>\n

    The <\/span>User Assist<\/b> is a <\/span>Registry<\/b> file that keeps track of all programs that were launched at some point in a computer. To disable <\/span>User Assist<\/b>, follow these simple steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Open the <\/span>Run<\/b> by pressing the <\/span>Windows Key<\/b> + <\/span>R<\/b> shortcut combination. Now type in <\/span>regedit<\/b> and press <\/span>Enter<\/b> to launch the <\/span>Registry Editor<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\ CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\UserAssist<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Now collapse both of these keys and delete the <\/span>Count<\/b> folder:

      Disable Last Access Log<\/b><\/h2>\n

      The <\/span>Last Access<\/b> log allows people to view the last opened, modified and closed files and folders. Needless to say, if you want to remove your traces from <\/span>Windows 10<\/b>, you should disable it.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Open <\/span>Command Prompt<\/b> on your computer.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Type the following command and execute it: <\/span>fsutil behavior set disablelastaccess 1<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Now restart your computer to make the changes permanent.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Disable Windows Event Logging<\/b><\/h2>\n

        As the name implies, the <\/span>Windows Event Logger<\/b> keeps track of everything that happens on the PC ranging from the smallest error to abrupt system crashes and even <\/span>Internet History<\/b>. Before we disable it, we have to first empty its contents from the Event Viewer<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Open <\/span>Control Panel<\/b>, click on <\/span>System and Security<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Click on <\/span>Administrative Tools<\/b>, and then click on <\/span>Event Viewer<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. In the <\/span>Event Viewer<\/b> window, click on <\/span>Windows Logs<\/b> to collapse it. Now right-click on <\/span>Application<\/b> and select <\/span>Clear Log<\/b>.

        4. A prompt with the following message will pop: <\/span>You can save the contents of this log before clearing it<\/b>? Click <\/span>Clear<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Now you can turn your attention towards disabling the <\/span>Event Logger<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

          1. Press the <\/span>Windows Key<\/b> + <\/span>R<\/b> to open the <\/span>Run<\/b> command box.<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Type in <\/span>msconfig<\/b> and press <\/span>Enter<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
          3. Click the <\/span>Services<\/b> tab and make sure the <\/span>Hide all Microsoft Services<\/b> option is unchecked.<\/span><\/li>\n
          4. Now scroll down until you find <\/span>Windows Event Log<\/b>. Uncheck it and click <\/span>OK<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
          5. Restart the system and the <\/span>Event Logger<\/b> should be disabled.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Cleaning Junk & Cache Files<\/b><\/h2>\n
