  2. Windows 2000\/XP<\/b>
    \n<\/b>Navigate to <\/span>
    \n<\/b>C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\Blizzard Entertainment\\Battle.net<\/b>
    \n<\/span>and delete <\/span>Battle.net<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now update the game once again and see if the issue still persists or it is done and dusted.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Edit Registry Entries<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Another widely helpful trick is to remove <\/span>Registry<\/b> data. This has also solved the tracker not responding issue for many people.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Press <\/span>Windows Key<\/b> + <\/span>R<\/b> to open the <\/span>Run<\/b> menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Type in <\/span>regedit<\/b> and hit <\/span>Enter<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Now make your way to <\/span>HKEY_CURRENT_USER<\/b> | <\/span>Software<\/b> | <\/span>Battle.net<\/b><\/li>\n
    4. Select <\/span>Battle.net<\/b> and hit <\/span>Shift<\/b> + <\/span>Delete<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Press <\/span>Enter<\/b> to permanently delete the file.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Turn Off Windows Firewall<\/b><\/h2>\n

      Windows Firewall<\/b> is also known to cause issues with games. If you are using <\/span>Windows<\/b>, then you can turn off <\/span>Windows Firewall<\/b> to see if this helps. Here is how you can do so:<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Search for <\/span>Windows Defender Security Center <\/b>in the <\/span>Start<\/b> menu and click to open it.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Now click <\/span>Firewall & network protection<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
