Now choose <\/span><b>Update Driver Software<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Select the <\/span><b>Search automatically for updated driver software<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> option.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><b>Note:<\/b><\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If the automatic detection method fails to detect new driver updates, you will have to download it from the manufacturer\u2019s site. Now select the model and finally you will be able to download the appropriate drivers. You\u2019ll be prompted to locate the downloaded driver files. Do so and the computer will take care of the rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Repair Disk Drive<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A HD failure is very tough to deal with. Detect and repair disk sector errors using the following command-line instruction:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type <\/span><b>CMD<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the Search Box.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Right-click on <\/span><b>Command Prompt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Search Results and then choose <\/span><b>Run as administrator<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Execute this command:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><b><b>Chkdsk \/r<\/b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Once all the disk errors have been successfully diagnosed, quit the window.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><b>Restore Chipset &amp; Video Configs in BIOS<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VIDEO_SCHEDULE_INTERNAL_ERROR \u00a0and a number of other problems can occur at times due to incorrect changes in the <\/span><b>BIOS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> configurations. Just go to the <\/span><b>Exit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> menu, and locate the option named as <\/span><b>Restore default settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Go to Exit menu, choose <\/span><b>Save changes and exit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><b>Upgrade Firmware<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Firmware is made up of different coded instructions added into the computer at the time of manufacturing. Copy all that information to a <\/span><b>Notepad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> file.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Right click <\/span><b>This PC<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and choose <\/span><b>Properties<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Note down the Windows version, system type <\/span><b>(32 \/64 bit)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and other relevant information in the same <\/span><b>Notepad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> file you used in Point # 3.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Visit the website of your motherboard manufacturer, and then click at <\/span><b>Downloads<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Specify the required system information and then kickstart the firmware download process.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Unzip the package and then use <\/span><b>SETUP.EXE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>INSTALL.EXE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (as applicable) to proceed with the installation wizard.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Note:<\/b><\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Downloading incompatible firmware version can make your system unstable.
