It is a good practice to periodically search your collection for duplicates to keep your files organized.

With Clone Files Checker, it’s easy to identify and fix identical files. The steps are given below:

1. Download Clone File Checker from here.

2. Double-click on the installer file.

3. Follow the instructions on your screen to install the program on your computer.

4. Double-click on the Clone Files Checker desktop shortcut, and click Yes when you’re prompted to provide administrative privileges.

5. In the main screen, click on the Add button.

6. You will now be prompted to select the destination folder.

7. Choose a folder of your choice, and then click on OK.

8. Next, set the Search Options in place.

9. If you wish to include all files irrespective of their types, use the All Files option.

10. On the contrary, if you wish to search for only a certain group of file types, use the Custom option.

11. Apply the appropriate file size filters to search only a range of files by their size. . For example: Use the option Ignore files smaller than to exclude files below a certain limit, say 1 MB. Similarly, you can select an upper size limit.

12. Click on Star Search and the scan should take place. This might take some time depending on the size of selected folders.

13. Clone File Checker will notify you about the total number of duplicate files detected. You may also be able to view the total size consumed by those files.

14. Simply click on the Fix Wizard button and select which file version you want to keep in each duplicate group. Select one of the options:

Newest Files

Oldest Files

15. Next, choose one of the following actions:

Delete permanently

Move to folder

16. It is recommended to use the Move to folder option so that you can review your files at a later point of time.

17. If you’re deleting your files permanently, be sure to check the Backup option which would allow you to restore any files that you may have accidentally deleted. This won’t take much space as your backups are compressed to take lesser storage space. In addition to this, you can view detailed history of the directories scanned, duplicate files list, action taken, date-time stamp, and much more. Simply click on the History tab to browse the scan history.

Adobe Dimension brings out a set of 3D and 2D assets to enable designers to design realistic images.
