  1. Open the <\/span>Windows Server Backup <\/b>tool.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click the <\/span>Local Backup <\/b>option.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Click on the <\/span>Backup Once <\/b>option under <\/span>Actions <\/b>panel.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Select <\/span>Different Options<\/b>, followed by <\/span>Next<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Use the <\/span>Custom <\/b>backup configuration option.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Click on <\/span>Add items <\/b>and select the <\/span>volumes <\/b>that you want to backup. Do NOT select individual files\/ folders.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. After finishing up selecting your volumes, click on <\/span>OK<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Click on the <\/span>Advanced Settings<\/b>, and then the <\/span>Exclusions <\/b>tab.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. You can add any files or select certain file types that you want the backup program to skip\/ ignore. Of course this is an optional feature and you do not necessarily have to use.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Next, click on <\/span>VSS Settings <\/b>tab.<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Select the option named <\/span>VSS Full Backup<\/b>, and then click <\/span>OK<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. You will now be prompted to select a <\/span>backup destination<\/b>. Choose whether to store your backup on a <\/span>local drive<\/b>, or a <\/span>remote shared folder <\/b>which is a cloud-based Internet storage destination.<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. After selecting your backup destination click <\/span>Next<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  14. Finally, click on the <\/span>Backup <\/b>button in the confirmation dialogue.<\/span><\/li>\n
