Step # 1: Install Dropbox App<\/b><\/h3>\n

The app is required to synchronize a folder stored on local hard disk to your Dropbox account. If you already have this app, you\u2019re one step ahead. If not, download it from <\/span>Dropbox official website<\/span><\/a>, and then install it on your laptop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step # 2:<\/b> Sign in to your Dropbox A\/c<\/b><\/h3>\n

Run the app that you just downloaded. You\u2019ll be prompted to enter your log-in credentials.<\/span><\/p>\n

By synchronizing everything, it\u2019ll not only waste your time but also consume network bandwidth and cause space shortage. Avoid this mess; simply click <\/span>Selective Sync<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Make sure you deselect the checkboxes of all non-photo items such as documents, music, videos, and archives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quick-Fix automatically takes user specified action; whereas Review & Fix lists out all duplicate photos so that user can preview their photos before specifying any action.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can accordingly delete dupes, move them to Recycle Bin, or to a new folder. Remember, photo backups feature saves you from accidental deletion. Use the \u201cHistory\u201d tab to restore your backups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step # 7: Download Google Photos Backup<\/b><\/h3>\n

Visit the <\/span>Google Photos App Download Page<\/span><\/a> to auto-upload your photos from Windows, storage cards or digital cameras.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step # 8: Sign in to Google Photos<\/b><\/h3>\n

The first thing you\u2019ll be prompted to sign into your Google Photos account.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step # 9: Set Up & Begin Sync<\/b><\/h3>\n

By choosing the top level folder Google Photos will sync everything including subfolders. If you\u2019re bit specific about upload, choose a subfolder containing images. Select your upload type \u2014 high quality (free) or original (paid storage), go ahead and click \u201cOK\u201d button to start the process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step # 10: Uninstall Dropbox<\/b><\/h3>\n
