Notifications are application pop-ups that appear on the screen and inform the user about any event that might have taken place in the computer with regards to any program\/ software installed in it. <\/span><\/p>\n

They often appear for no or very simple reasons, while disturbing users as they\u2019re in the midst of their important business. This leads most users to temporarily\/ permanently turn them off.<\/span><\/p>\n

Performing a cleanup operation of the browser’s cache is critical. Perform this task using an adept software program, and simply forget about a slow and underperforming web browser.<\/p>\n

  6. Move the corresponding slider to left (turn it <\/span>OFF<\/b>).<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Close the window.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Blocking Inter-App Pop-Ups<\/b><\/h2>\n

    Here are steps to get rid of pop-ups within an app, for example, a web browser.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Microsoft Edge:<\/b><\/h3>\n

    1. Click the <\/span>More Actions<\/b> (<\/span>…<\/b>) icon on the top-right corner.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Select <\/span>Settings<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Click <\/span>View advanced settings<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Move <\/span>Block Pop-Ups<\/b> slider to right (turn it <\/span>ON<\/b>).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Other Browsers:<\/b><\/h3>\n

      Download <\/span>Ad-Blocker<\/b> or any other program that blocks online advertisements, pop-ups, and promotional scripts from web pages. Install it and from then onwards you shan\u2019t get any irritating popups and banner ads.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Uninstall Malicious Application<\/b><\/h2>\n

      Your computer may have been infected by a virus\/ spyware. <\/span>Viruses<\/b> may display notifications and suggest you should buy a particular product or simply warn that your computer is unsafe. You should review the apps\u2019 installation history, uninstall recently installed suspicious application(s), full scan your PC using a good <\/span>Antivirus<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      2. Click the <\/span>System <\/b>icon.<\/span><\/li>\n

      4. You\u2019ll get the applications list on the screen. Rearrange them by the date of their installation. To do so, select <\/span>Sort by install date<\/b> option from the dropdown box.<\/span><\/li>\n
