And periodic sweeping of such elements is necessary for optimum performance. Temporary files hold information that is no longer required once you\u2019ve exited the corresponding software program or app. There are several kinds of Temporary Files, one of the more important type of them being known as Log files. Log files are sometimes also known as <\/span>foo files<\/span><\/i>. Unless you\u2019re experiencing the Blue Screen of Death, random system reboots, Windows crashes or any other runtime errors, you do not need log files and can proceed to delete them regularly without any worries to help rid your computer of any excessive junk.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Deleting Web Junk<\/b><\/h3>\n

      Web junk includes Temporary Internet Files, cache of several web browsers installed on your system, browser form fill-up data, and so on.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Click Hub icon.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Click History tab in the panel that appears on right corner of your browser window.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Click \u201cClear all history\u201d link.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Click \u201cDownloads icon\u201d in the same panel.<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Click \u201cClear all\u201d link.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            2. Choose a time range to clear the trash from, and then click the \u201cClear Now\u201d button<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              1. Click the Opera icon on the upper left-hand side of your screen<\/span><\/li>\n
              2. Choose \u201cHistory\u201d option from the drop down box<\/span><\/li>\n
              3. Choose to delete it from the beginning of time, and finally click on \u201cClear browsing data\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Safari<\/span><\/h4>\n

                1. Click Safari Menu<\/span><\/li>\n
                2. Click \u201cClear history and website data\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
                3. Choose the time range from the \u201cClear\u201d drop down box<\/span><\/li>\n
                4. Next, click the \u201cClear history\u201d button<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Searching & Deleting Logs<\/b><\/h3>\n

                  Log files located in other folders can be easily traced through Windows Search. To do so, open Windows Explorer and enter the below mentioned keywords one by one in the Search Box located on upper right-hand corner. Once the results are displayed, delete them permanently by pressing Shift + Delete.<\/span><\/p>\n
