GTC Running Very Slow

Nvidia‘s GTC app for Android smartphones may run slow.

Clear App Cache

Cache is used to optimize the transfer of data between different system elements with different characteristics. Clear it from the Settings page. You can use Sorcim’s ST Cleaner Android App to clean and optimize GTC.

  1. Tap the Home icon.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Phone category.
  5. Tap Apps.
  6. Tap the name of the desired application whose cache you intend to clean.
  7. Tap Clear Cache.
  8. In the confirmation window, tap OK.

 

Clear App Data

An application data is the information retrieved from time to time in a meaningful manner by apps installed on your phone. When application data, which is stored on phone or memory card storage, gets corrupted, it results in the GTC slowdown issue.

  1. Refer to steps # 1-6 from the Clear App Cache section.
  2. Tap Clear Data.
  3. Confirm the action by tapping OK.

 

Start Phone in Safe Mode

The Safe Mode is a limited functionality mode where only those apps which are essential for the functioning of your phone, are run. Prevent unwanted apps from loading using the Safe Mode feature.

  1. Press and hold the Volume Down key of your phone.
  2. Press and hold the Power key.
  3. Do not release the Volume Down key until Android logo appears.
  4. Tap the Recovery option.
  5. Press the Power key.
  6. Once your phone starts boot up process, press the Volume Up key.
  7. Tap the Wipe Cache Partition option.
  8. Press the Power key again.
  9. Tap the Power Off option.
  10. Tap Restart option.
  11. Your phone will boot up in the safe mode.

 

Perform Master Reset

Master Reset is the process of restoring your device’s state to the factory settings. Remember, all data stored on your device will be permanently deleted. Make sure you create a backup on a computer before initiating the master reset.

  1. Press the Power key and continue holding it until your phone switches on.
  2. Tap the Power Off option.
  3. Press and hold the Volume Down key.
  4. Once the phone switches on, release Power key but keep holding the Volume Down key.
  5. Android logo will appear on your phone screen.
  6. Tap the Factory Reset option.
  7. Press the Power key.
